Last night I tested the Red Irish Ale that I brew almost five weeks ago. It was in the primary fermenter for one week, secondary fermenter for two weeks, and in the bottle for two and a half weeks. The color was good but the head was barely acceptable. It reminded me of Samuel Adams Red Irish Ale. My son thought it reminded him of Samuel Adams. I have a bottle of Killian’s in the refrigerator so I will try a comparison test tonight. I might drink the whole batch trying to figure out what it tastes like.
